tam called meeting to order at 7:20 pm..
sam read min. for feb.-3rd reading to become
law
for folding of club to give all to senior
citizens..
monte motion and wayne 2nd..
Joyce gave treas.. sam motion and paul
2nd.,
New Business: none..
Old Business:
Repeater report-monte said did test on
repeater and let it run
and it stoped working. hold off on crystals
till get it
working and running good.
Duplexer have. also any 2 mobile radio can
make a system..
monte said he had one and joyce said she
would donate a radio
for use,,
Forest going to talk to coastal about
donating the wood for building..
wrote monte out a check for $38.63 for ID
omatic and conector kit at
hamgadget.com,,,
decided on 6x6x8high building.
Joyce also worte wayne and barb out a check
for 20.oo where they
overpaid dues.\
paul got an aplication to take to lee smith
for membership..
there is a hamfest in athens Ohio on the 27th
of april..
closed meeting at 8:50 pm.. motion paul..

 Feb. 26th, 2008 meeting |
pres. tammy opened the meeting at 7:05pm..
treas. report by joyce bea..
sect. sam mcginnis read mint. from Jan. meeting..
New Business: Mail box dues and a check was
writtien to send in for another year..
Paul spoke with alan white about doing electrian
work for the repeater building..
monte has repeater working. now to get the
crystals..
Old Business: discussed round table at 9 pm on the
tyler county(middlebourne)repeater when weather
breaks, cause alot of people have mobiles.;
Could not discuss repeater much, due to not
enought members and bad weather..
Told club about going with health dept. to weston
and did small ham ht demonstration to show the k-9
search and rescue how much the radio would help..
7:30 closed meeting and talked about repeater and
etc.
Gregg smith said he would work out supplies for
building , the building so we could have
information to take to places to see what can be
donated...

Jan. 29. 2008 meeting
started meeting at 7:10pm by Tammy,.
Forest lead Prayer,.
Sam did minutes of Nov. and Dec. because dec.
christmas party,.
Sam also brought up about motion for donation of
club money's
to go to Senior Citizen in Doddridge county if
the club folds and
closes.Forest made motion and Monte 2nd.
Minutes Monte made motion and Jim 2nd.
Joyce gave treasure report..

New Business:..
Tammy brought information about getting club
affiliated with arrl.. Have
sheet on information and also information on
club vanity club station license..
Club dues are due jan. thru March,.
15.00 per person, 20.00 per family, age of 65-
79 is 7.50 and
80 years of age is free membership..
Talked about a club call sign. can sign up for
vanity like w8dc..
Jim Hill offered to help with books for studing..
Old Business:...
dcars/ares net. sunday evening 9pm, possibly
call it the doddridge county net,
need callers but before head up net have a
couple meetings on sunday evening at
9pm and round table talk see how all do into
the middlebourne repeater of 147.360.
pl tone of 110.9,,,
Repeater:...
West Union Water Board, open lease. we need a
6x6 building, water tight and
insulated.. It will have 2-19 incn cabnets..
some underground wireing.
need certified electrician, forest is going
to check with a friend about getting
an electrician time donated.. at least 20 ft.
coduet. pipeing..
Monte sent bylaws to lawer to see about
incorperating and club insurance..
around 150.00 for incorperation. and possible
100.00 per year insurance...
Repeater and Duplex Monte will donate in a
written letter on such a day as club
is incorperated and the club will own.
Crystal element need to order around 80.00 CW
ID kit also give joyce information and
she can write out a check for the ordering...
also talked about a weather reciver. and monte
supose to help charles with his and
check out ours on the service monitor that john
hatfield owns..
order stuff to monte address.. monte made
motion and sam 2nd..

 Dec. 28th, 2007 Christmas/New Years get together. |
On Friday evening at 6 pm., everyone gathered
together
for a dinner at the Cottage corner in Salem, Wv.
Great Conversation, door prizes and a speach
from the
West Central K-9 Search and Resue.

Joyce Bea,
Lanette Davis, Ed Davis, Paul Martin, Forest
Welch,
William Hayes, Tyler, Todd Hosey, Alli Hosey,
Robert Sipe...
Door prize winners where. Robert Sipes-Santa
oraments,
Hanging Basket- Paul Martin, All Season Plates-
William Hayes.
A picture is in the book with the others..
Wonderful time was had by all and wishing
everyone a happy new year...

Tuesday evening at 7:05pm tam called the meeting
to order.
Sam read minutes of Oct. meeting 2007..
Joyce gave treasure report...

New Business:
Welcomed our guest to meeting and begin___
Discusion on repeater building and what was
need.. building needs to be atleast
4x8. 8x8 better. need cement. and building
supplies.
check with saw mill on price of wood.. and
joyce gonna check if can get discount on
cement from hardware store..
Tyler county has give dcars permission to start
a net check on there repeater..
147.360 with pl tone of 110.9. We now have
written permission and in agreement that
will wait till after first of year in 2008 and
let members take turn being net control and
get pratice doing net for emergency etc.
Guest Ken Harris WA8LLM spoke about
emergency program on Dec. 8th, 2007 in Parkersburg,
MSEN-- Mountian State Emergency Net.,
The program will go from 9am. to 4 pm... phone
net on - 3.865

Old Business:
DCARS Christmas/Newyears dinner will be Dec.
28th, 6pm to 8pm at the Cottage Corner
in Salem. This is on Friday Night.. Price
should be $15.00 or less per person for there
Buffett or you can order from menu if you
prefer...
There will be no meeting in December due to
holidays and our christmas dinner.,
wHich means our next meeting will be Jan.
29th, 2008....

Ken gave information and Taught us the
procedures for RADIO GRAMS with the help
of Terry.
The program was very important and we learned
alot about passing message in differnt
circumstances.. For example...there are 4
message (precedences)--Emergency-which is always
spelled out.,Priority-P,welfare-W,Routine-R-
which is most handled.
Alot more information was given on how to do
radio grams for both arrl and arrl
numbered Radiograms.
DCARS would like to thank ken and terry for
traveling from wood county and helping
us learn more about doing messages(radio
gramm)..
Refreshments where servered.. Chips.
vegetable tray, donuts and cookies. with Iced
tea and coffee to drink. Would like to thank
Joyce Bea-kd8exv for donationg the refreshment
for the meeting..
